The Staff Ultrasound Technician serves an essential role in providing equitable access to services for families living in South Seattle, a Federally designated Medically Underserved Area where this will be the first clinic to provide OB sonography visits open to the general public.  This role is crucial to providing safe and easy access to perinatal health for our community.

Lactation Counselor & Consultant

We are currently seeking Lactation Consultants and Counselors who have a CLC or IBCLC level of certification. These roles will support our clinic’s efforts to provide each client with easy access to lactation support. 

 

A position is open for an IBCLC to participate in our Lactation Lounge program, run in partnership with Open Arms Lactation Support Peer Counselors.

CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES:

The Staff Midwife serves an essential role in providing compassionate, skilled care to pregnant, birthing, and postpartum clients; supporting colleagues and students, and participating in the larger organizational programs and services at RVB&HC. 

 

We offer a unique model of care at RVB&HC–pairing teams of two midwives who each provide a continuity of care experience for our clients while backing each other up.  They coordinate time-off, clinical schedules, and extended vacations with each other.  The Full Time Staff Midwife will be expected to care for 6 clients in-dates per month.  

 

This midwifery practice is unique in that it is seated in a larger non-profit space and midwives play essential roles in leading the care for their clients in relation to the wrap-around services offered.

The Director of Midwifery, Renton serves an essential role in providing compassionate, skilled care to pregnant, birthing, and postpartum clients; supporting RVB&HC and credentialed midwives to maintain and fulfill their duties; and ensuring clinical requirements are met for state and national licensure and accreditation.  

 

This position is an integral part of RVB&HC’s interdisciplinary clinical leadership team.  Our team is dedicated to holding an environment for providers that is supportive, allows for learning and growth, and promotes and supports the work of all colleagues.   The ideal candidate is vested in inquiry-led and responsive leadership and has skills to build on the strengths of the midwives working in our service while rooted in kindness.
