Medical Assistant

We are currently seeking per diem medical assistants to assist our nurse midwives with clinical duties 1-6 days per week with options for late afternoon, evening, and weekend hours in addition to traditional work-day hours.  This is an essential role that will directly support our providers with basic clerical and technical services within a defined scope of practice under the direction of a licensed Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner.  This multi-skilled employee partners with providers and clinic staff to provide ongoing support services to maximize efficiency while ensuring optimal patient/family experience.  Functions as a patient care team member assisting licensed staff in the performance and provision of safe, service-oriented and efficient patient care

Program Manager

The Program Manager serves an essential role in providing management and oversight of all grant-funded programs offered at RVBHC, including lactation lounges, supportive pregnancy group prenatal classes, and our comprehensive Birth Bundle Program. They oversee all grant management activities, including contract management, grant reporting, invoicing, and compliance. This position is also responsible for supervising staff running programs, program strategy, design, and implementations, and for supervising staff running direct-service programs.

The Medical Receptionist provides independent and high-level confidential administrative and clinical support and oversees elements of day-to-day office management.  This position is on-site and not virtual. 


In this role, you will communicate with patients and family members, support the workflow of clinical providers and administrative staff, and contribute to the collection and evaluation of client information and data. You will be a communication hub for team members and external audiences, and will need good written and interpersonal communication skills to help people through what can be complex processes and unfamiliar situations.
