CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES:

Program Coordinator

We are currently seeking a program coordinator to join our team. This is an essential role that will be responsible for supporting and coordinating our Birth Bundle Project. The Program Coordinator role will communicate with clients, providers, and community members, connect clients to services, help ensure grant compliance, work with county representatives, support the workflow of administrative staff and clinical providers, and contribute to the collection and evaluation of data. This position provides independent and high-level confidential programmatic and administrative support and is a communication hub for team members and external audiences.

 

This role is located at our clinic in South Seattle. Staff are currently working remotely due to COVID, but will return to in-person work when public health protocols allow.

Community Outreach Coordinator

Do you enjoy building relationships and working in the community? This role is responsible for communicating and educating the public about our prenatal services and recruiting participants for our programs, such as lactation lounges and group prenatal care sessions. Particularly during COVID, managing our social media outreach efforts will also be necessary. 

 

The Outreach Coordinator will represent our organization (virtually, or in-person, when safe) at community events and communicate programs, resources, and services to families, organizations, and local publications. The Outreach Coordinator will also communicate with community members, potential clients, and providers, and will form new partnerships.

This position will be virtual until public health protocols allow for in-person work.

Medical Receptionist

We are currently seeking a medical receptionist to support our clinic. This position provides independent and high-level confidential administrative and clinical support and oversees elements of day-to-day office management.  This position is on-site and not virtual.

Executive Assistant

This position will be virtual until public health protocols allow for in-person work.  This is an essential role that will report to our Executive Director (ED). The Executive Assistant will be responsible for supporting the ED in administrative, communications, and meeting tasks through maintaining the schedule, email, and project management applications. Success in this position comes from the ability to track and execute a high volume of tasks with precision.

Medical Assistant

We are currently seeking per diem medical assistants to assist our nurse midwives with clinical duties 1-6 days per week with options for late afternoon, evening, and weekend hours in addition to traditional work-day hours.  This is an essential role that will directly support our providers with basic clerical and technical services within a defined scope of practice under the direction of a licensed Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner.  This multi-skilled employee partners with providers and clinic staff to provide ongoing support services to maximize efficiency while ensuring optimal patient/family experience.  Functions as a patient care team member assisting licensed staff in the performance and provision of safe, service-oriented and efficient patient care

Lactation Counselor & Consultant

We are currently seeking Lactation Consultants and Counselors who have a CLC or IBCLC level of certification. These roles will support our clinic’s efforts to provide each client with easy access to lactation support. 

 

A position is open for an IBCLC to participate in our Lactation Lounge program, run in partnership with Open Arms Lactation Support Peer Counselors.
