Jade Jost (she/her/they/them)
Community Outreach Coordinator

Jade is a local community organizer committed to anti-racism, anti-imperialism, free and accessible healthcare for all, environmental advocacy, economic equity, restorative/transformative justice, carceral abolition, and LGTBQ+ liberation. With their experience in operations, she uses her Virgo-minded organization, cross-functional collaboration style, project management, and communication skills to build lasting community change.

Previous to non-profit work, Jade has worked in biotech, SF Bay Area tech startups, and eCommerce fashion companies. She has founded an Employee Resource Group for People of Color at her last corporate job to instill DEI initiatives through education, community collaboration, and holding processing spaces in group circles. They are a current and heavily active member of the Seattle chapter of GABRIELA to organize and assist Filipina women and LGBTQ+ in the diaspora, tying it to the Philippines with a socialist perspective. She is also an at-large member of the Seattle Democratic Socialists of America, mostly involved with mutual aid projects and local electoral campaigns.

This California transplant enjoys taking care of children and babies, mutual aid, care-taking for animals, hiking in the rain, avidly reading, anime and manga, constantly listening to music and podcasts, concerts/shows, sunbathing, and being a foodie.
