Hello, My name is Faisa Abdi. I'm a senior Health Studies student at the University of Washington Bothell, set to graduate in 2022. I'm also a Somali American first-generation college student. In the future, I want to work in medicine and aid people in underserved communities, such as the one where I grew up. Painting, watching movies and television shows, and spending time with family and friends are some of my favourite hobbies. I'm looking forward to working at the Rainier Valley Community Clinic, where I'll be assessing the needs of pregnant and parenting students in high school, and physical and emotional healthcare access throughout King County.
