COVID Update 9.24.2020

  • King County is currently meeting many of the targets withthe exception of case counts.  Many new cases are in university housing as colleges have opened.

  • King County requests a re-committment to masking, social distancing, limiting gatherings, and general protective behaviors.

  • BIPOC communities continue to experience disproportionate impacts of COVID-19

  • King County has hired 50 new contact tracers and has met testing targets for the first time

  • Tests can be hard to find as sites open and close, be sure to call ahead if you need a test

  • RVM does not require a test in order for you to attend a clinic visit

  • Visits are being scheduled as appropriate for each family and each visit need with the midwife at home or at our clinic

  • We are carefully scheduling our clinic visits to leave extra time between visits for cleaning commonly touched surfaces and avoiding having families in the same space at the same time

Just because you don't get to see each other at clinic in passing or groups doesn't mean you can't spend time together!  Please  join us for prenatal groups and lactation lounges to connect, ask all of the questions, and share your experiences of pregnancy, birth, parenting, feeding your baby, weaning, or family planning!
