Healing our community, one family at a time.
We recognize that we are on Duwamish territory and honor their Elders past, present, and emerging.
Thank you for your continued support!

Maya Lazo-Fanning (she/her)
I was born in Seattle but spent the first few years of my life in Oaxaca, Mexico before moving back. I spoke Spanish at home before eventually learning English in school, where I also discovered my love for medical professionals. I realized that nursing was what I wanted to do at a young age and am so excited to be starting my third year of nursing school. I am also passionate about sharing my culture with the community, so when I am not in school, I am dancing or helping to plan events for my Mexican dance group, Grupo Cultural Oaxaqueno. The people that are a part of this group are my second family and have molded me into the leader, advocate, and friend I am today.
