Arya is a Certified Nurse-Midwife and International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant with a passion for client-centered, evidence-based, trauma-informed care. She has supported clients from all walks of life in a variety of settings and circumstances. Her practice focuses on integrative wellness throughout the lifespan, with special emphasis on lifestyle interventions that support each client’s optimal health. Dedicated to cultural fluency, she strives to build trust and provide a safe space for clients to receive the care they seek. In addition to clinical practice, Arya provides consulting services to educational platforms such as Lactation Education Resources and is pursuing a post-graduate certificate as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Her academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts with double majors in Gender Studies and Spanish (Indiana University, 2000), a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Marymount University, 2016), and a Master of Science in Nursing (Frontier Nursing University, 2021). She is an Air Force veteran and, as such, brings a wealth of leadership experience to her field. Arya is an energetic, compassionate person whose professional and personal interests intertwine through health and fitness. When she isn’t providing client care, she’s probably researching, writing, attending a continuing education class, or teaching one herself. She is a life-long learner who pursues a variety of interests including strength training, yoga, cooking, knitting, dancing, and hiking. She is honored to share her life with her husband and daughter.
